The first thing I'm going to say is that the book was well written,
often I see box set where they just copy and past the books into one and
don't bother to remove the redundant propaganda, and almost never work
on a central table of content, that is not the case here and I'm glad
they are finally listening (At least I would like to see it that way.)
As for the contents, you will get ideas to make legit money, things like
selling your stuff, making arts and crafts if you can, selling DIY
projects which was interesting and there are other options like selling
your hair, copywriting, and playing games for real money.

I am a Chinese in the USA. An American friend recommended this Age of
Ambition to me, saying it's amazing. But I found myself almost gave up
when I read the first chapter on the Taiwan defector Lin Zhengyi. This
is a story you can find on wikipedia, and lots of Chinese are very
familiar with Lin Zhengyi too. I guess Americans will find it
interesting, never mind. I decided to read on since I liked the writing
style. The people and their stories in this book are nothing new to me.
Even Ai Weiwei's part, I would just go to watch the movie Never Say
Sorry again. The more I read, the more I think something is missing.
Seems Mr. Even Osnos is keen on predicting the future of China. But the
characters in his book are not representing the whole picture. I am not
saying Hu Shuli, Lin Zhengyi or Han Han are passé, just the grass-root
young strivers in the book are not those who are more likely to take
over the throne. China is a elite society, even if you don't like the
children of the officials, of the rich business men's, the truth is they
are educated(some overseas) and have resources. They are more likely to
govern the country in the future. I don't know why there is no voice
from this group. If you are talking about ambitions, without input from
that group, the picture of new China the author draws is just not
completed. But again, for those who don't live in China, or never
experience the culture, it's a good read.

As a blogger for over five years, I picked this book up hoping to find
some hints on how to improve my blog. This book turned out to be
especially helpful in many ways. I really resonated with the main
premise presented at the beginning of the book, that blogs are wonderful
platforms to share your passion of a subject and see what others think
about it.

With a blog, you have the opportunity to create a
supportive and interactive community, and this book shares advice about
how to go about building this community and reaching out to others.
Information is presented on basic topics like which platform to choose,
things to consider when updating your blog's design, and how to turn it
into a business. I found the interviews of established bloggers to be
the most inspirational aspect of the book. The bloggers shared their
experiences and thoughts about the practice of blogging, offering
nuggets of wisdom that cross over genres and subjects. I kept a
notebook beside me during the whole time I read this book because of all
the good ideas.

Even if your goal is not to become a full-time blogger, this book has a lot to offer and I encourage you to check it out.
